About the Artist
Jamie Lefevre is a senior visual communication design student at Kent State University. Her photo was taken while visiting the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, Germany. Walking alone through the rows of the Memorial’s columns provided a sense of solitude and humility, allowing her to reflect upon the loss of the millions and what the memorial exists for. The cold and snowy conditions helped to create a lasting impression on her; she will forever remember that moment in time.
